Sir Rod Stewart got into the festive spirit on Thursday by sharing an Instagram photo of himself alongside his six children, granddaughter and model wife Penny Lancaster.
The legendary singer, 77, and his loved ones dressed to impress for the evening as they posed with their arms wrapped around each other in front of a huge Christmas tree.
A father-of-eight, Sir Rod sported his world-famous mullet and eye-catching suit, paired with a white patterned open-necked shirt.

Meanwhile Penny, 51, turned heads in a dazzling orange long sleeve maxi dress which she paired with simple black heels.
The statuesque model applied a perfect palette of makeup to highlight her beauty and styled her long blonde tresses in a chic demi-chic.
The couple were pictured with their two sons, model Alastair, 16, and Aidan, 11, as well as Sir Rod’s other children Kimberley, Ruby, Renee and Sean.

They were also joined by Kimberley’s daughter Delilah, 11, and Ruby’s partner Jake, but Liam Stewart was absent from the family photo.
Sir Rod’s children are from romances with five different women. He has sons Alastair and Aidan with his third wife Penny, and Liam, 28, and Renee, 30, with his second wife, model Rachel Hunter, 53.
Kimberly, 43, and Sean, 42, are from his first marriage to actress Alana Stewart, 77, while daughter Ruby, 35, is from a former relationship with model Kelly Emberg, 63 year.

Sir Rod’s first child is Sarah Streeter, 59, who was raised by his adoptive parents Gerald and Evelyn Thubron.
It comes after the singer recently explained how his wife Penny is his first wife to go through menopause while still married to him.
The music legend, who married the model in 2007, detailed how Penny introduced him to the struggles women have faced, explaining how she would go into ‘blinding fits of rage’ while battling her symptoms.

Sir Rod, who supports Penny’s campaign to raise awareness of menopausal symptoms, urged other men to support their partners going through the same experience.
In an interview with Reader’s Digest, Rod joked, “I hadn’t seen [the menopause] before, because my marriages didn’t last that long.
The hitmaker divorced Rachel Hunter in 2006 after 16 years of marriage, when she was 37, while his first wife, Alana, was 39 when they ended their marriage in 1984.
