Twitter erupts over viral video of Waffle House employee swerving thrown chair: ‘A new superhero’

“Waffle House” is trending on Twitter in reaction to a video of a deviant employee slapping a chair thrown at him during a fight at one of the chain’s restaurants in Austin, Texas.

The original video, which is over two minutes long, shows the preparation and struggle between several Waffle House customers and employees.

The employee who was hit with two chairs has gone viral for her quick reflexes and impressive deflection.

“The United States military has many branches defending our country,” tweeted comedian Brad Williams. “Air Force Marines Army Navy Waffle House Employees.”

“I was curious why Waffle House was all the rage,” civil rights attorney Scott Hechinger tweeted. “I thought it was a fight. But after going down the rabbit hole, watching various clips, I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t a fight. It was the world crowning achievement of a new superhero. “Waffle House Girl.”

“She has to play the lead role in the next action movie,” said actor and musician Mekka Don. tweeted. “Waffle House’s professional training is off the chain.”

“I trained at Waffle House,” Lynda Carter tweeted, responding to a tweet with a video of herself as Wonder Woman.

“Maybe I’m a sweet old man. But what if, just maybe, we could collectively put aside our differences, come together and enter 2023 into a harmonious agreement that Waffle House Girl is the bada– MVP of the year,” podcast host Aaron Sagers tweeted.

“I really wonder what conversations are going on at Waffle House HQ,” YouTuber Kalen Allen asked.
